Description

With this hardwire kit you can provide the dashcam with a constant power supply . This means you can leave the camera switched on even at night. This kit is suitable for vehicles with voltage levels of 12 to 24 volts .

This hardwire kit immediately detects whether the car is parked thanks to ACC Detection.

Then the dashcam automatically switches to parking mode so that the dashcam stays on! As soon as the vehicle is started again, the dashcam switches to normal power supply.

The hardwire kit supports three parking mode types as well as automatic event detection, time lapse and low bit rate recording. The hardwire kit will work until the car battery percentage drops below a certain level (customizable), then the dash cam will turn off.

Hints:

  • The kit is best suited for the VIOFO A139 2CH / 3CH and the VIOFO A139 Pro 1CH / 2CH / 3CH!
    But it can also be used for the VIOFO T130 2CH / 3CH, the VIOFO A229 Single / Duo, VIOFO A119 Mini / Mini 2, VIOFO A229 Plus 1CH / 2CH / 3CH, VIOFO A229 Pro 1CH/ 2CH / 3CH and VIOFO WM1 .
  • The safety attachments are not included as standard
    (two attachments are required for operation)
    • Please select the fuse type you require (you can check the correct option with your local car dealer).
    • If you are not sure what type your vehicle has, consider the set with the 4 different fuses .
  • We recommend that the installation of the hardwire kit be carried out by a specialist workshop.

            Note 1:

            If you want to use a Type-C port on the rear-view mirror or in the car for power supply, you will need an additional USB-C to USB-A adapter for the original VIOFO USB-C cable. The USB-C adapter must be connected to the car's port. USB-C to USB-A and then USB-A to USB-C cable can be used; with a direct connection from the car's USB-C port to the dashcam, it will not start.

            Note 2:

            To ensure that the camera works properly, please use the original VIOFO cable / VIOFO car charger cable. You can also avoid interference from the original SD cards.

            Note 3:

            In parking mode, we recommend using VIOFO Hardwire Kit cable to power the camera. If a power bank is used to power the parking mode, it may cause the parking mode to be unstable.
